Eyal has been at the forefront of information security for over 10 years, having first worked with the security team of Bank Leumi. He then co-founded BugSec in 2005, providing penetration testing and long-term infosecurity consultation with almost every major financial institution in Israel – including Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, First International Bank, Bank of Israel, and many others – before expanding into several other countries across Europe.
Eyal and his co-founders then formed Versafe in 2009, dedicated to delivering innovative products that help customers combat fraud without disrupting their business. He is the author of a patent, and is a highly-sought-after adviser to dozens of leading financial organizations throughout EMEA. He has been responsible for the discovery, and ultimate mitigation, of dozens of major attacks and new threat types – having been recognized for his contributions by the likes of Google, Microsoft, and others.
While critically involved in the strategic direction and management of the organization, Idan is chiefly responsible for leading market expansion of the Total Online Fraud Protection Suite across EMEA, having driven several key new client partnerships throughout Europe in 2012 and the first-half of 2013.
